The Journal is a prestigious publication containing articles on matters that fall within the Institute's sphere of interest, all of which are peer-reviewed. A copy is received by Ordinary members of the Institute.
The Newsletter is published twice a year. It contains accounts of the Institute's activities during the past six months and publicises forthcoming events and activities.
Each year's summer meeting is documented and illustrated in these reports, and we also publish volumes relating to our annual conference. You can also find details on that page for the The Impact of Rome on the British countryside, a booklet published after our 2013 Chester conference.
The Institute's range of publications includes reports of previous Summer Meetings and cumulative indexes to the Archaeological Journal. Back issues of the Archaeological Journal and monographs are available to order.
